Our Duval Landscape Intern Spotlight
Our Duval Landscape Intern Spotlight

Here at Duval Landscape Maintenance, we have always prided ourselves in our dedicated, forward-thinking team of professionals—and our interns are no exception! In today’s blog, we will be highlighting a talented group of students who have been helping to achieve Duval’s vision with their own academic insights.

This year, we’ve been working with excellent students from three top universities:

University of Florida: Our UF intern is making strides here at Duval. Coming from the local region, his familiarity with our climate and unique landscaping needs has turned into a great asset to have on the team. He’s helped us with everything from fundamental tasks to elaborate design projects, and is continuously learning about our industry at every step. We can’t wait to see what new, innovative ideas he brings to the table next.

University of Central Florida: Another local intern, from the University of Central Florida, has showed a knack for design and a keen understanding of how a well-oiled landscaping team should operate. Hailing from the Central Florida climate, our UCF intern is no stranger to the hot temperatures this time of year is known for—however, his resilience and determination to get the job done, whatever it may be, never ceases to impress. He’s eager to learn, and we’re just as eager to have such a cooperative member on our team.

Marquette University: Our third intern comes all the way from Marquette University in Wisconsin—so while his idea of the seasons and climate might be a little different from our own, he’s wasted no time in familiarizing himself with the ins and outs of Florida weather and, of course, landscaping. We’re proud to have this unique insight as part of our team, and it’s always a pleasure to watch him and our other interns grow into the landscaping leaders of tomorrow.

We hope that today’s blog has given you a better insight into the people who make Duval Landscape Maintenance what it is. While the right plants, tools and equipment help us get the job done, it’s truly the people who make it all possible.
